Our solid timber gates are meticulously crafted from durable hardwood, specifically Iroko timber. Iroko’s inherent strength makes it less susceptible to warping or twisting. This resilience is attributed to the abundant natural oils present in the wood, serving to repel moisture and shield the timber from the elements. To ensure the gates run true for automation, they are purposefully designed and reinforced. The larger bottom section features a mortise and tenon joint, securely fastened with marine-grade external resin.

You have the option to leave the gates in their natural state, allowing them to gracefully weather to a silvery-grey colour over time. Alternatively, we offer the choice to have the gates fully finished with a protective wood stain in a colour of your preference.
