Industrial Hinged Gates
Larger industrial gates usually require heavy-duty surface mounted hydraulic rams to be installed as these are very robust and best suited for the application.
All types and any combination of access control may be used to activate the gates including radio transmitters, fob readers, intercom systems, coded keypads, push buttons, key-switches etc…
We always advocate the use of appropriate safety equipment, usually induction loop detectors, photo-cells and resistive rubber safety edges installed to all areas where trapping may be a factor.
These are usually arranged to prevent closure whilst a vehicle or other object is detected in the gate swing area. They are installed in such a way to prevent trapping within the gates and to enable the system to comply with current regulations.
